Contacts
General Information
Contacts are vital to your Enforcer or Criminal career. It is through your contacts that you aquire new weapons, cars, weapon and vehicle mods, clothing and most importantly more contacts. Contacts come in 5 tiers, from tier 0 to tier 5, which represents their quality of rewards and how much standing is required to advance. All Waterfront and Financial District contacts have rewards for most levels of standing you have with them (normally 10 levels of standing for a contact, except the start contacts which have 5 and the organisation leaders which have 15) and once maxed out they refer you to a higher teir contact. Social contacts do not grant rewards.
The ingame progression menu can be used to track your standing with all your known contacts aswell as to preview the rewards granted by the different contacts (As long as you are in the same district, you cant see a Financial contacts rewards while in Waterfront). It can also be used to pledge to a contact which dedicates all your standing to that contact, allocating all the standing you earn to advancing the standing with that contact, you can break a pledge at any time. If you arent pledged then a random contact is chosen when a mission begins.
