The NFAS is also one of the best destructive weapons in the game because unlike the JG it can be fired while leaning out of a car window so it is possible to destroy enemy vehicles quickly while on the move. To help matters more the NFAS has a much longer effective range than the JG, which is important to remember when going up against a player with one.
Don't forget that this weapon's function came in its name: the NFAS-12 really is a fully-automatic shotgun for those who thought the weapon would play like a regular shotgun and shoot semi-automatic. The best thing about this weapon is the fact that its rate of fire is most closely observed with an Obeya CR762 in "full-auto" mode and the fact that typical enemies bearing absolutely NO character mods can be pinned down in a matter of 2-3 seconds makes this weapon hundreds of worlds more effective than other shotguns. Unlike the JG-840 which has a longer reload time due to individual shells that must be added one-by-one into the weapon, the NFAS-12 has a detachable magazine, allowing the weapon to reload faster in a one-on-one fight where both players have used up all of their shells. Note that the first shot in any fight often gives the player the advantage, and the quicker reload time offers the player this "first shot" advantage.
While the NFAS, along with possibly the Colby PMG-28, will constantly appear at the bottom of the list in terms of "Most recommended CQC weapons", the NFAS is not to be underestimated; repetitive fire with a relatively wide spread and decent damage could really hurt the opposing team. The NFAS, in the hands of a skilled player, can match up to the likes of an OCA-626, notorious for being an easy weapon to kill enemies with. Even though the NFAS only holds 7 rounds per magazine, it is important to note that it only takes less than half of these rounds to eliminate threats. Having Extended Mag or Mag Pull could be useful either way to the player, as the gun already has a fast Reload time at default. Those two additional shots could well be your difference between life or death.
A good tactic to employ with this weapon is to take up position by the corner of a wall near an objective and line the camera up so that you can see around the corner but your body is behind cover. When you see an enemy player approaching, wait for them to get close, then pop out and fire off three or four quick shots while continuously moving to make short work of them.
